Where REST stood
REST UK is the Renewable Energy Services Team. They install solar panels, battery storage and EV charging for homes and businesses across England and Wales.
Their buyer is careful. A solar, battery or charging installation is a large purchase, so people compare several installers, check who is certified, read reviews, ask for written prices and wait for a survey before they commit. REST had the credentials that buyer looks for.
REST's credentials, as rest-uk.com states them, read in October 2026.
- MCS certified
- Tesla Powerwall certified installer
- Duracell Energy platinum partner
What REST needed was for that buyer to find them first, trust what they found, and get a fast, clear answer when they enquired. That is the whole of the buying journey, so we took the whole of it on.
What REST needed
Three things decide where a careful buyer's enquiry goes. Being found when the search starts. Credentials and reviews the buyer can check for themselves. A quick, clear response once they ask.
Each of those is a different piece of marketing. Search and content decide whether REST is found. The website decides whether the buyer trusts what they find and enquires. Paid search and paid social reach the people comparing options this week. Lead generation decides what happens after the enquiry.
So REST asked for one team to run all of it, as one plan, and to judge the work on one thing: enquiries followed through to sale.
What we did
Six pieces of work, in the order a buyer meets them.
Website
We designed and built rest-uk.com for the person on a phone comparing installers. It loads quickly. It says what REST does, where they work and what they are certified to install. Every page carries a way to call or enquire.
Tracking went on the site on day one, so every enquiry carries its source: the search, the ad, the article or the social post that brought it in.

SEO
We mapped the searches REST's buyers start with, by installation type and by area, and gave each one a page. Technical SEO kept the site fast, crawlable and well structured. On-page content and internal links told Google what each page is for.
Content
We wrote the articles that answer the questions people ask before they enquire. What an installation involves. Which options suit which home. What to check before choosing an installer. Each piece has a job: a search it answers, or a step in the buying journey. We planned the content a month ahead.
Google Ads
We ran search ads for people already looking for an installer, limited to the area REST serves. Every click was tracked through to the enquiry and on to the sale, so we judged each campaign on the sales it produced and moved budget to the searches that converted.
Meta ads
We ran Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram for people still building a shortlist, with weekly creative and audience tests. Retargeting followed people who had visited the site and had yet to enquire. The ad and the website told the same story, so the person who clicked landed on the page they expected.
Lead generation
Every enquiry travelled from the click to REST's CRM with its source attached. We followed each one through to sale, so cost per lead and lead to sale rate read together every week, and REST's team could see which enquiries to call first.
1,140 leads in six months at £17 a lead. April to September 2026. Source: the client's CRM and our weekly tracking.

How we measured it
Every engagement we run starts with a baseline on day one and a weekly report against it. REST's report shows enquiries, cost per lead and lead to sale rate by channel, next to where they started, every week.
Across our clients, the tools we use are Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, Klaviyo, Ahrefs and LLM Pulse. We use them as customers.
The result figures on this page come from two systems read together: the client's CRM, which records every enquiry and every sale, and our weekly tracking, which records where each enquiry came from and what it cost. Each result carries that source beside it.
What the six months produced
Between April and September 2026, REST UK took 1,140 leads at £17 a lead. Source: the client's CRM and our weekly tracking.
A lead is only worth what it becomes, so we read cost per lead and lead to sale rate as a pair. 31% of those leads became sales, same six months, same source.
The enquiries that became sales carried £1.9M of pipeline value over the same period, from the same source. We label it pipeline, because it is the value of the work won and in progress.
